City of Colorado Springs seeking to fill board, commission openings

The City of Colorado Springs has two openings for at-large members on the Liquor and Beer Licensing Board and the City Investment Advisory Committee. Volunteers must be at least 18, live in Colorado Springs and have an interest in local affairs.

The Liquor and Beer Licensing Board conducts application and transfer hearings, modifications of premises, suspensions and revocations. Members meet the first and third Fridays of every month and attend an annual work session.

The City Investment Advisory Committee advises City Council and staff about the investment policies and procedures of the city. Members meet twice a year, or more often as needed.
