The Air Force Academy has received its fifth Air Force Organizational Excellence Award for meritorious service.
From Jan 1, 2005, to Dec. 31, 2006, the academy was recognized as a trailblazer in the areas of human dignity and respect, developing the Air Force's first Sexual Assault Response Coordinator position to improve support for victims, graduating 1,767 officers and achieving athletic success within the NCAA, including eight All- America athletes, seven Mountain West Conference champions and one NCAA champion.
