Public input needed for Palmer Lake master plan

The El Paso County Parks and Leisure Services and the Town of Palmer Lake are asking for the public's help in updating the master plan for the Palmer Lake Recreation area.

To launch the update process, a communitywide survey can be completed at adm.elpasoco.com/Parks_Leisure_Services or www.ci.palmer-lake.co.us. Paper copies of the survey are available at Palmer Lake's Town Hall, 42 Valley Crescent. The deadline to complete the surveys is May 4.

Quality Inn & Suites opens

Quality Inn & Suites has opened at 555 W. Garden of the Gods Road.

The former Roadway Inn underwent nearly $1million in improvements and renovations, including updated carpet, drapes, beds, furnishings, design and paint.

The hotel, which has 125 guest rooms, is operated by Pikes Peak Hospitality LLC.
