Fortified Holdings' Business Unit to Exhibit at State-of-the-Art Technology Conference; "West 2008"
Market Wire, February, 2008
Fortified Holdings Corp. (OTCBB: FFDH) ("Fortified" or the "Company") communications division, Fortified DataCom, will be exhibiting at the largest state-of-the-art defense and technology exposition and conference on the West Coast at the San Diego Convention Center, February 5-7. The Western Conference and Exposition -- West 2008 -- co-sponsored by AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association) and the U.S. Naval Institute, will feature exhibits from more than 400 technology leaders and discussions by leading military experts.
While at the Expo, Fortified DataCom will provide information and demonstrations of its advanced information management and mobile communications technologies. As the leader in ruggedized mobile command control and communications network solutions, Fortified develops, manufactures and integrates technologies which allow critical incident responders and war fighters to transform static location-limited network services into dynamic knowledge-driven command and control operations centers.
"We are bringing an excellent product cross section with us," states Fortified DataCom's V.P. of Sales Jake Dwinell, who will be in attendance throughout the event to answer questions and provide hands-on demonstrations of Fortified DataCom's products. "We have one of our top-of-the line NOMAD C4XS portable command centers, several Tactical Access Point packages, our VantagePoint situational awareness software, and our NOMAD FlashCam products." The Company's NOMAD family of products provides the ability to combine voice and data communications, mission command, security and mobile mesh networking technologies into rugged tactical command solutions for deployment anywhere in the world.
"It's a great opportunity to see how our products deliver remote access to real-time voice and data transmissions, intelligence gathering technologies, and computing power, under conditions where previous field-portable systems were simply unavailable to a broad user group due to excessive cost or lack of reliability," says President Steven Cooper, who will be present at the Expo. "We are looking forward to a lot of interest at our booth."
Fortified DataCom will be exhibiting at booth 2502 in the San Diego Convention Center.
