MusicIP Names Andrew Stess Chief Executive Officer

MusicIP, a leader in digital music discovery and recommendations, today announced that Andrew Stess has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective September 4, 2007. Mr. Stess replaces Matthew Dunn, who has served as MusicIP's Chief Executive Officer since May 2005. In addition to his role as CEO, Mr. Stess will serve on MusicIP's Board of Directors.

Mr. Stess spent the last four years with All Media Guide (AMG) as Vice President Consumer Electronics. In addition to building the team for licensing AMG's media recognition and content management products from the ground up, Mr. Stess established important strategic relationships with a substantial number of leading edge companies including Playstation®3, Apple, Delphi, Yahoo!, AOL, Bang & Olufsen, RealNetworks and MP3Tunes.

Prior to AMG, Mr. Stess was with the online music and technology company Liquid Audio as Director of Sales and Business Development. He joined Liquid Audio after three years with Gracenote as the first executive hired by the founding group, where he pioneered licensing media recognition for consumer electronics devices and media player applications.

Mr. Stess serves on the Board of Directors for LyricFind, the first functional search engine for full text lyrics and the first licensed source for lyrics online.
