Trico Marine Services Appoints Global Director of Technical Services

Trico Marine Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRMA) announces the promotion of Ray Hoover as Global Director of Technical Services. Hoover joined Trico in 2003 as the manager of our operations for the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

Since joining Trico, Mr. Hoover has excelled in coordinating mobilization and other critical technical services primarily in the U.S. but also in our foreign locations as needed. In his new role, Mr. Hoover will oversee Trico's global technical services operations and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Joseph S. Compofelice.

Mr. Compofelice added, "With his expertise in this area, we will be in a stronger position to manage the geographical range and vessel diversity of dry dockings and new vessel construction around the world. Prior to joining Trico, Mr. Hoover spent fourteen years with ENSCO Marine Company, a marine transportation company, in various roles ranging from port engineer to manager of operations.
