Enablence Technologies Inc. Delays Public Offering

Enablence Technologies Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ENA) ("Enablence") announces that it has been made aware by staff at the Ontario Securities Commission (the "OSC") of an investigation into the trading activity of the shares of Enablence and certain corporate events that may be relevant to the OSC's investigation.

Consequently, Enablence Technologies Inc. has determined that the process for filing its final Short Form Prospectus relating to its public offering announced on May 4, 2007 will be delayed and the offering will not proceed at this time.

There are no allegations against Enablence or any of its officers or directors in the request for information from the OSC. Enablence will provide the OSC with all the necessary information requested for its investigation

About Enablence Technologies Inc.

Enablence products are used in optical modems that are located inside the consumer's homes (i.e. for the delivery of high speed data/voice/video). Enablence designs and manufactures optical components, in particular triplexers and diplexers, using its proprietary Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) "Dispersion Bridge" platform, for the Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) market.
