The Public Eye Video Podcast Debuts New Dual-Host Format

Although Katie Couric is going it solo as news anchor for CBS News, The Public Eye video podcast today debuted a new dual-host format for its daily video podcast available at www.thepubliceye.tv .

While the program continues to serve up two minute news and entertainment episodes for Internet viewers, the addition of new co-hosts Bobbi Berry and Gretchen Treser have altered the format and tone.

"We heard from our viewers who told us, 'if we're going to spend two minutes of our day watching your show, make it more entertaining and funny,'" said founder Jack Hardy. "This change is the first phase of a makeover for our program, with more changes planned for the future."

Daily episodes for The Public Eye are also available through Really Simple Syndication (RSS) technology and can be accessed through video podcast distributors including Apple's iTunes, www.itunes.com and the ZENcast service www.zencast.com . Special episodes have also been produced specifically for viewers at video hosting sites www.youtube.com and www.revver.com .
