White mare at dusk - Poem
Literary Review, Wntr, 2002 by Aonghas MacNeacail
white mare at dusk white mare on a sallow brae at night fall between stillness and speed as pale as a dream there's nothing to tell but that she's a white mare on a sallow brae at night fall and the mysterious beauty of the image the frightening beauty of the image and the darkened wait for break of day
