Harp Attack! - sound recording reviews

Ebony,  Sept, 1991  by Lynn Norment

> HARP Attack! (Alligator) gives blues lovers a hearty dose of down-home blues, plus some. Featuring four renowned Chicago blues harpists (harmonica players)--Billy Branch, James Cotton, Junior Wells and Carey Bell--the recording is loaded with good songs and passionate music. All four harpists sing vocals on the opening "Down Home Out Of My Pockets." My Branch, at 39 the youngest of the quartet, delivers rousing performances on "Who" and "New Kid On The Block." You can't help but give in to this harp attack.
