Your article, "Is Love Becoming Color-Blind" (March 2007), on mixed race couples missed an essential component. You omitted what the children of these couples must go through. It's great that these couples have overcome barriers themselves, but they set up their kids for a life of minefields and rejections.
It's (unintentionally) cruel, selfish and shortsighted to produce multiracial children in a predominantly racist society. You neglected this angle of the story entirely.
