Thank you, EBONY, for the cover story, "Angela Bassett Talks About Love, Marriage, The Twins & The Joys Of Motherhood" (May 2006). She appears to have it all--love, marriage and the joys of motherhood. She and her husband are twice blessed with twins. They're also blessed to be married as lovers and friends. I imagine she and Courtney Vance will be wonderful parents. Children are a gift from God. She said it best: "I want them to grow in fear and love of God, have a strong moral compass, be good and loving citizens and always, always know that they are loved."
I hope Angela Bassett's career will continue to soar and that motherhood will give her life's greatest joys.

I can't thank you enough for putting the beautiful and gifted Angela Bassett on the cover. I couldn't get the magazine fast enough when my favorite morning show host mentioned that she was on the cover. Ms. Bassett is the most talented actress out there! The article was excellent. The only thing that would have made it better would have been making it longer. May she and her family continue to be blessed.
