Resort wear

Ebony,  June, 2006  by Eunice W. Johnson

Don't be concerned about what to take on your spring or summer resort vacation this year. European and American designers have it all mapped out for you. Spruce up your resort wardrobe with a snazzy minidress with a dazzling Pucci pattern such as the one designed by Milly. Or perhaps you want to enhance your swimwear with a sizzling number from Rosa Cha's titillating collection. In the spring and summer shows, sheer fabrics were shown in billowing coverups as well as dresses and blouses. Crocheted pieces were popular, and fine linens and silks continued to be favored. The colors were vibrant, from neon greens to a variety of blues and gold. Whether your style preference tends to be more conservative and subdued, or more exciting and eclectic, top designers offer something to suit your persona while adding pep and color to your resort wear.
