At the CIAA's 60th anniversary, David Bercik (far right) of Ford Motor Co. joins Chuck Morrison (far left), executive vice president and general manager, UniWorld Group, and James Malone (second from right), group account director, UniWorld Group, in presenting a $100,000 check to Ingrid Wicker-McCree, president of the CIAA Executive Board, for the CIAA general scholarship fund. Ford has had a five-year history with the CIAA, donating more than $500,000 in scholarships to the CIAA schools. At last year's event, Ford was recognized as CIAA "Partner of the Year" for the second year in a row.

During the anniversary celebration, David Bercik of Ford Motor Co. (far left) presents NBA legend Earl (The Pearl) Monroe with a CIAA ring during ceremonies honoring the "Ford 60th Anniversary CIAA Team." Ten players and three coaches were honored, including former NBA star Charles Oakley (with Monroe). Other honorees (below) include Al Attles, Bobby Dandridge, Cleo Hill, Sam Jones, Earl Lloyd, Rick Mahorn, Carlos Terry, Ben Wallace, John McLendon (enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame as the "Father of Black Basketball and co-founder of the CIAA Tournament), Clarence (Big House) Gaines and David Robbins. They are joined by CIAA officials, sponsors and other supporters.
