For Brothers Only
Ebony, March, 2006 by Marilyn Caldwell
I am so happy and thankful that Mr. Kevin Chappell wrote the For Brothers Only column, "At A Loss For Words" (Nov. 2005), because much of what we heard or saw about most African-American males in New Orleans--during the aftermath and devastation of Hurricane Katrina--was negative.
The column, "At A Loss For Words," was extremely positive, and it showed how African-Americans rose to the occasion during this catastrophic event that affected socioeconomic levels.
Thank you for such a wonderful and informational column.
