Editor's Note: In the feature, "Ebony Fashion Fair Chairpersons" (Jan. 2006), Marie Baker Wilson, general chairperson of Ebony Fashion Fair show in Atlanta, was inadvertently omitted.
The Atlanta show has been sponsored by the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., for the past 45 years, and that show consistently has ranked among the best-attended shows during the 48 years of the Ebony Fashion Fair tour. The event serves as the group's major fund-raiser, and revenues are used to finance scholarships and public service projects.
Wilson, who has been associated with the Atlanta show for nearly 45 years, has been the general chairperson for the past three years.
We regret the omission of the significant contributions to the Ebony Fashion Fair that have been made by Wilson and the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta.
