Heather Headley: Broadway star is back with a powerful new recording

Heather Headley delights fans and admirers with a wonderful new recording, In My Mind (RCA), on which the Broadway and recording star delivers another great performance. The title song, produced by Babyface, is a powerful cut on which she pours out her heart and soul. She follows with "Change," another track on which the singer/songwriter showcases her enormous talent on both fronts.
"I wanted the album to be like a book," she says, adding that she wanted her songs to offer glimpses of her personality. The spicy Jamaican side of Headley is evident on the dance jam "Rain," which features vocals fron Shaggy. Also contributing to the set are producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and Lil Jon ("Back When I Was"). The real star is Headley with her commanding vocals and enthralling lyrics.
