3. Welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather, who many observers consider to be boxing's "pound for pound best," weighs in before his championship fight with Great Britain's Ricky Hatton. Both fighters were undefeated, but Mayweather retained his title with a 10th round knockout.

4. In Los Angeles, Debbie Allen shares a moment with her mother, Vivian Ayers, at a production of Alex In Wonderland at the UCLA Freud Playhouse. The production was choreographed and directed by Allen. It was presented by the Annenberg Foundation, the Kennedy Center, Target and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy.
