Ebony in Africa

Ebony,  Feb, 2008  by Emeka Ndukwe,  Will Hall

I was filled with joy to see the article, "The Africa You Don't Know" (Dec. 2007), shedding genuine and good light on the nations of Africa, places, resources, infrastructure, city life, etc,

All ignorant people around the globe who are so biased and brainwashed by the media will better appreciate Africa after reading and seeing the issue. When some people ask me stupid questions about Africa, here's what I say: "It's just like the media filming the worst parts of the ghetto and the impoverished places here in America; they then air those scenes, [implying] that's all of America."

Kudos to you, EBONY, and one love.

Thank you for the article, "A Conversation With Former President Bill Clinton In Africa--And About Africa" (Dec. 2007), by Sylvester Monroe. It gave me the opportunity to further appreciate the brilliant mind of Bill Clinton. During his eight years as president, Bill Clinton not only made it easier for disadvantaged Black people, but he made sure that all ethnic groups and minorities were given fair and equal opportunities.
