Michael Jackson

As a White person, I found your December issue incredibly illuminating, thanks to the article on Africa and the interview with former President Bill Clinton. Having said that, I'm afraid that putting Michael Jackson on the cover turned a tot of potential readers off (both Black and White). More emphasis on the "meat" of that issue and less on the "sides" would have garnered more interest, not to mention educate SO many people who need it!

In my 27 years as his No. 1 fan, my hat is off to you, EBONY, for producing his most flawless photo shoot ever and the most respectable article and interview ever conducted. You treated the King of Pop the way he should be treated. Michael, if you are reading this note, if this is what "49" looks like, then I can't wait to get there!
