More than 100 thousand people from more than 40 countries converged in Atlanta, Georgia, to celebrate the second annual MegaFest[TM], one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the United States. From August 3 to 6, 2005, families and friends of all ages enjoyed comedy, fashion, star-studded entertainment and inspirational speakers in an atmosphere charged with positive spiritual energy.
Performances included the Women of Purpose concert, featuring Gladys Knight and hosted by Chaka Khan and BeBe Winans, The Just Churchin' Comedy Jam showcasing Steve Harvey, fun and fitness with Donna Richardson, inspiring speeches and the U.S. premiere of de Light the World Parade.
The youth program featured hot artists in pop, rock, R&B and gospel, and showcased events meant to empower, prepare and equip children and young adults to make their dreams a reality.
