Reta J. Lewis is vice president and counselor to the president at the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. Her responsibilities include building alliances and partnerships with chambers and national associations around the United States. In addition, she is heading a new program that focuses on developing strategic relationships and building ties to minority- and women-owned businesses.

Lewis earned her bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Georgia, her M.S.A.J. from American University and her law degree from Emory University's School of Law. She and her husband, Carlton, live in Washington, D.C.
