It was hard holding back the tears while reading the article, "9/11: One Year Later" (Sept. 2002). It is truly a day America will never forget.
On 9/11/02, I found myself on a flight from Little Rock, Ark., to Dallas, Texas. I sat there, staring out the window thinking of American Airlines flight 77 and United flight 93. I tried to imagine what it must have been like knowing they were destined for a horrible death.
Thank you, EBONY, for putting faces with some of the names of those who were tragically killed on that fateful day in 2001. We will never forget September 11. Never!
