Historically Black Colleges - Letters To The Editor - Letter to the Editor
Ebony, Jan, 2003 by Vinetta Wesley
Outstanding! Outstanding! The special section, "Historically Black Colleges And Universities" (Sept. 2002), was very timely. Historically Black colleges and universities have been a key source in the development of the African-American middle class. The importance of the academic- and nurture-based environment cannot be underestimated in building a stronger foundation for future success in the workplace.
Continue presenting such articles to the public. The young and not so young need a more balanced view of the many key factors in selecting a college. Without a magazine such as this one, that truth may not be as widely told.
