The March on Washington - Letters to the editor - Letter to the Editor

Ebony,  Sept, 2003  by Rosa Parks

Since the March on Washington (Aug. 2003), I have ... been able to share with youth traditional protesting, new protesting and methods of working behind the scenes. I do this through Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute For Self-Development, which I co-founded with Elaine Eason Steele.

I look forward to the students of the Institute and others meeting and joining trailblazers and torchbearers to continue the fight for human rights. There is still a lot of work to be done. I would encourage those youth interested in preserving peace and adding their voices to human rights issues to call the institute at (313) 965-0606 or e-mail 90bday@rosaparks.org.
