Special section on diabetes - Letters To The Editor

Thank you, EBONY, and staff. I live in rural Alabama and sometimes feel isolated from mainstream America. Your magazine keeps me up to date on current events, services and products. Your special section, "Diabetes" (March 2003), was of particular interest. It has motivated me to take better care of myself. The subject of health is of interest to the general population.

EBONY'S special section on diabetes was priceless. Having the incurable disease myself, I felt somewhat apprehensive about the articles, but relieved in that they gave imperative to discipline, to diet, to exercise, to control it.
