Update on omega-3s

Better Nutrition,  August, 2004

Update on Omega-3s: A British study has found that mothers eating omega-3-rich fish in late pregnancy give birth to bigger babies. Being very small at birth is linked with a greater risk of high blood pressure and other problems later in life. However, pregnant women are advised to limit tuna intake because of its high mercury content.
